Contribution from Intrum
The latest edition of the European Payment Report (EPR) from Intrum offers new insights into how payment behavior is changing in Switzerland.
Around 10,000 companies from all over Europe were surveyed for the EPR 2025 – including over 230 from Switzerland. The results show that Swiss companies are seeing an increase in payment delays and are warning that the economic environment is getting tougher.
The key findings:
- 37% of companies report an increase in unpaid invoices.
- 42% expect payment behavior to deteriorate further.
- Many companies are investing more in receivables management and risk assessment.
