As you might know, cross-border VAT e-commerce is being modernised in the EU. As of 1 July 2021, new rules affecting cross-border e-commerce activity between Switzerland and the European Union will come into force. For this purpose, we invite all stakeholder affected to join our webinar on 27 May, 2021 from 10.00-12.00.

There is a large amount of cross-border business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce activity occurring between Switzerland and the EU. Aiming to make the transition to the new VAT rules for the Swiss stakeholders as smooth as possible, we invite you to participate in the webinar, as well as to forward this invitation to all those involved in the area of cross-border B2C commerce. This could be members/trading companies, postal operators, competent persons in the customs and tax administration, such as any other relevant actor for whom this information might be relevant. The seminar held in English by Ms. Agnès FEKETE, responsible for VAT policy and legislation in the European Commission, is aimed at complementing the EU’s information campaign.
